Effective Date: August 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Al-Dody Egypt Captain. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy is designed to inform you about the types of data we collect, how we use it, and your rights, in strict compliance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements.

2. Data We Collect (As declared in Data Safety)

To provide a seamless ride-sharing and delivery experience, we collect the following types of information:

Location Data (Precise and Approximate): We collect your exact GPS location in the foreground and background. This is strictly required to assign you nearby trips, track active rides, calculate fares, and ensure passenger safety.
Personal Information: We collect your Name, Email Address, and Phone Number for account creation, communication, and identity verification.
Financial Information: We collect user payment info to process your earnings, payouts, and manage your wallet balance.
Photos: We collect photos when you upload your profile picture, vehicle photos, or required legal documents (driver's license, ID).
Messages / Emails: We may collect emails and in-app communications between you and the support team or customers for dispute resolution.
App Activity: We track user interactions within the app to improve user experience and feature usability.
App Info and Performance: We collect crash logs, diagnostics, and other performance data to fix bugs and maintain app stability.
Device or Other IDs: We collect device IDs for security, fraud prevention, and to send push notifications.

3. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties. All data collected is used solely for the operation of the Al-Dody Egypt platform. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with external marketing agencies or third-party institutions.

4. Security Practices

Encryption in Transit: All data transferred between your device and our servers is encrypted over a secure connection (HTTPS/SSL) to protect your privacy.
Secure Storage: Your documents and sensitive information are stored securely using industry-standard protocols.

5. Data Deletion Policy

You can delete your account and its associated personal data at any time, yourself, without waiting for approval.

How to delete your account: open appaldody.tech/account/delete, sign in, and confirm. You may also contact our support team if you cannot reach that page.

Erased immediately: your name, phone number, email address, password, photos, documents, saved addresses, recorded locations, and the content of your messages. Your phone number and email are released on deletion, so you can register with them again later.

Retained, and why: our financial records — invoices, payments, transfers and earnings — keep their amounts only, stripped of your identity, because Egyptian law requires us to retain them for tax and accounting purposes. After deletion these records carry neither your name nor anything that identifies you.

When deletion is refused: if your wallet is in debt or holds a balance you have not withdrawn, or you have a ride in progress, an open order, an upcoming booking, an open support ticket, or unsettled dues. The reasons are shown to you immediately, and once they are settled the deletion goes through.
